At least two NATO soldiers and six civilians have been killed in two violent attacks across Afghanistan.
In a statement Monday, NATO officials said two troops were killed in an attack in eastern Afghanistan. It did not release the nationality of the soldiers.
The Associated Press quotes Kabul police as saying the troops were killed when a bomb attached to a bicycle exploded near a foreign military convoy in the Afghan capital.
Later Monday, a bomb strapped to a motorcycle exploded in a market in northern Kunduz province killing six civilians.
On Sunday, officials say a suicide bomber killed at least 50 people and wounded 80 during a volleyball tournament in the eastern Paktika province.
No group has claimed responsibility for any of the three attacks.
The attack Sunday came as Afghanistan's lower house of parliament approved security agreements with the United States and NATO to allow international forces to remain in the country past the end of this year to support local forces.
