US National Zoo Leads Efforts to Conserve Wildlife
For more than a century, the National Zoo in Washington has attracted visitors wanting to learn more about animals. The zoo has become a leader in wildlife conservation, with animals representing 400 species - one-fifth of which are considered threatened or endangered.
