World number two Andy Roddick and Olympic silver medalist Mardy Fish will lead the U.S. team against Spain in the Davis Cup tennis finals next month in Seville.
U.S. Davis Cup captain Patrick McEnroe announced the squad Thursday. The Bryan brothers, Bob and Mike, will play doubles against the Spanish team that features former French Open winners Juan Carlos Ferrero and Carlos Moya, and Tommy Robredo and Rafael Nadal.
The Spaniards will have the advantage of playing at home on their favorite surface, red clay. Spain is playing in the final for the third time in five years. The U.S. team has not won the title since 1995. The Americans have won the title a record 31 times but have not appeared in the final since 1997.
The Davis Cup final will be held December 3-5 in Seville, Spain.
