Moderate Earthquake Hits Colombia

Colombian officials say a moderate earthquake has hit the northwestern town of Cordoba, 500 kilometers from the capital, Bogota.

Officials from Colombia's National Seismology Center say no injuries or damages were reported from the quake, which measured 5.3 on the Richter scale.

They say tremors from the quake were felt in several coastal cities, including the tourist resort of Cartagena.
