NBA: 76ers Announce Acquisition of Chris Webber

The National Basketball Association's Philadelphia 76ers have announced that they have acquired five-time All-Star forward Chris Webber in a trade with the Sacramento Kings.

The Sixers say they received Webber along with forwards Matt Barnes, and Michael Bradley in exchange for forwards Corliss Williamson, Kenny Thomas and Brian Skinner.

Webber was the first player taken in the 1993 NBA draft and was NBA Rookie of the Year in 1994. He has played with the Golden State Warriors, the Washington Wizards and the Kings, amassing a career average of more than 22 points and 10 rebounds per game.
