The International Olympic Committee evaluation commission has arrived in Russia to evaluate Moscow's bid to host the 2012 Games.
The Olympic inspectors will spend four days in the Russian capital and are scheduled to visit Moscow's existing sports facilities and locations for planned new construction. They will also study the city's plans for security and environmental issues.
Moscow's streets, buildings and billboards are filled with Olympic symbols and the slogan "Believe in your dream." The commission will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday before taking a private tour of Moscow's ancient Kremlin.
Moscow is the final stop for the inspectors, who have already visited Madrid, London, New York and Paris. The IOC will announce the winner on July 6 in Singapore.
