Mr. Uribe is scheduled to hold talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao and other leaders. He is also scheduled to visit Shanghai, China's economic capital.
Mr. Uribe and Mr. Hu are expected to sign several cooperation accords. They are also expected to discuss a variety of economic and trade issues, including exports of Colombian coal to China.
