Senior North and South Korean Officials Meet for 2nd Time in Jakarta

South Korea's prime minister and North Korea's number two leader have met for a second time in Jakarta after their first contact on Friday.

Prime Minister Lee Hae-chan and North Korea's Kim Yong Nam met on the sidelines of the Asia-Africa summit Saturday, but made no comment.

The two met briefly and less formally on Friday and discussed regional problems, but did not talk about the North's nuclear programs.

South Korea's Yonhap news agency said the two talked about the need to cooperate on territorial claims on islets claimed by Seoul and Tokyo.

Yonhap said the two officials were expected to discuss key issues Saturday including resumption of inter-Korean dialogue and the nuclear issue.
