Bangladeshi Protesters Storm Kuwait Embassy

Hundreds of Bangladeshi workers apparently angered by non-payment of salaries have ransacked their country's embassy in Kuwait.

The Associated Press said two Bangladeshi civilian visitors were slightly wounded in the violent protest, which ended when police evicted the workers and arrested some of them.

The report quotes Ambassador Nasrul Islam Khan as saying Bangladeshi workers regularly visit the embassy to complain about not getting paid. He said the protesters who arrived Sunday may have been angered because no officials met the group to hear their complaints.

Some information for this report provided by AP and AFP.
