Egyptian Police Arrest Fourth Suspect in Sharm el-Sheikh Bombings

Egyptian police have arrested another suspect in connection with last month's deadly bombings in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh that killed at least 64 people.

Security sources in Cairo Friday say the man, Hassan el-Arishi, was arrested earlier this week in the Sinai peninsula. This is the fourth person Egyptian police have arrested in connection with the deadly attacks.

The state-run newspaper el-Ahram Sunday reported Egyptian security forces arrested three suspects and found nearly a ton of explosives at a farm in the Sinai coastal town of el-Arish.

On July 23, suicide attackers detonated three bombs in quick succession, one near a luxury hotel, another in a neighborhood full of Egyptians, and a third at the entrance to a beach promenade frequented by tourists.
