A bus accident in central Colombia has killed at least 18 people.
A government official in Caldas State said the bus plunged off a cliff Wednesday, falling 300 meters into a ravine.
The Associated Press quotes another local official, Caldas Civil Defense chief Carlos Montoya, as saying the driver had apparently fallen asleep.
The accident left at least seven people injured.
