Suspected Colombian Rebels Kill At Least 7

update

Officials in Colombia say leftist rebels have attacked a bus, killing at least seven people.

Authorities say gunmen with the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, shot at a passenger bus as it traveled in the southern Caqueta state, defying a guerrilla-imposed travel ban in the area.

The bus careened out of control and flipped over, and FARC guerillas then opened fired on it.

Colombia has endured more than four decades of war involving leftist rebels, rightist paramilitaries and government forces. The conflict leaves thousands dead each year.
