Thomas was signed by Phoenix early last month after he was released by Chicago. The Bulls did not allow Thomas to play most of the season, complaining he had a bad attitude.
Chicago resumes its playoff series Monday in Miami, trailing the Heat after one game in the best-of-seven series. The only other NBA contest Monday has the Denver Nuggets at the Los Angeles Clippers.
