NFL: Colts, Bears to Meet in Super Bowl

update

The Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears will play in the National Football League championship game - the Super Bowl - after winning their conference titles Sunday.

The host Colts rallied from a 21-3 deficit to beat the archrival New England Patriots, 38-34 - the largest comeback by any team in an NFL semi-final game. Joseph Addai ran in the winning touchdown with a minute left in the game.

Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning also had a rushing score to go with a touchdown pass.

Earlier, the Chicago Bears broke open a tight game with three touchdowns in the fourth quarter to beat the New Orleans Saints, 39-14.

The Bears defense forced four turnovers on the snowy field in Chicago.

The Bears and Colts will play for the NFL title on February 4 in Miami, Florida.

Lovie Smith became the first African American coach to lead a team to the Super Bowl. Hours later, Colts' coach Tony Dungy became the second.

Smith credited coaches that came before him, and said he hopes to be as inspirational to others. Smith's good friend, Dungy, said it means a lot, and that he is proud to represent African American coaches.
