Rosie O'Donnell says she won't settle any scores in her upcoming memoir.
Speaking June 3 at the U.S. publising industry's annual convention, BookExpo America, the outspoken actress said she has had an "interesting year," and will reveal her tribulations in her upcoming book "Celebrity Detox."
O'Donnell, who recently ended her stormy eight-month tenure on the daytime TV talk show The View, said the book will not be "vindictive" or "mean-spirited," but will offer a candid look at her life.
The 45-year-old O'Donnell, who began her career as a stand-up comic, said she intended to write the book several years ago, but decided it wasn't quite ready. Her time on The View spurred her to complete what she said will be "half blog" and "half straight" writing.
"Celebrity Detox" is scheduled for a fall 2007 release.
