Princeton University has awarded an honorary doctorate of humanities to Muhammad Ali.
The Ivy League school honored the 65-year-old former heavyweight boxing champion for his contributions to humanitarian efforts and his athletic achievements.
He was one of seven people awarded honorary degrees at the university's June 5 graduation ceremony.
