Bolivian Government Says Terrorists Behind Recent Attacks

update

The Bolivian government says terrorists are responsible for recent attacks in La Paz and Santa Cruz.

Interior Minister Alfredo Rada blamed what he called an organization of a terrorist nature for a dynamite attack Monday at the office building of a Bolivian trade union, COB, in La Paz.

No one was injured in the early morning explosion.

Two other attacks were reported in Santa Cruz - one at the house of a politician, and another at a hotel where President Evo Morales has stayed.

Rada called the attacks a challenge to Bolivia's democratic society.

Some information for this report was provided by Reuters.
