Russian Soldier Kills 3 Fellow Troops Before Committing Suicide

Russian soldier has shot and killed three of his fellow troops and seriously injured another before killing himself.

Russian authorities say the four soldiers had sought to prevent their colleague from deserting when the shooting occurred.

Russia has boosted military spending in recent years in efforts to improve morale and halt bullying. However, authorities say more than 300 Russian soldiers committed suicide last year.
