Dutch police say an Ikea store and other shops in Amsterdam were allowed to reopen Friday morning, a day after the arrests of seven people on suspicion of preparing to carry out a terrorist attack.
Officials say there is no longer any threat to safety.

The suspects allegedly planned to bomb several stores, including a large Ikea furniture store in the Dutch capital.

Authorities say the seven suspects are Dutch nationals of Moroccan ancestry between 19 and 64 years old.
One of the suspects was related to one of the 2004 Madrid train bombers. That attack killed nearly 200 people and wounded more than 1,800.
