One of the hardest-working blues bands is Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers.
When they are not on tour, the group can usually be found in the recording studio mixing Rod's dynamic vocals and harmonica solos with electric guitar, piano, drums and acoustic bass.
Rod learned to play from one of the best, George "Harmonica" Smith, who encouraged him to develop his own style.
In an interview with VOA's Doug Levine, Rod talks about a lifetime of playing the blues and his group's latest album, Beyond the Source.
