India's cricket team has scored 99 for three in response to England's score of 336 all out on the second day of the third test match in the southern Indian city of Bangalore.
Resuming play at 255 for six, England had trouble getting past India's bowling, including leg spinner Anil Kumble, who took his 300th test wicket when he trapped batsman Matthew Hoggard leg before wicket.
India then took the crease and Sachin Tendulkar scored 50 not out. English pace bowler Andrew Flintoff took three for 30 runs off 15 overs. India leads the three-match series, 1-0, after winning the first test in Mohali by 10 wickets. The second test in Ahmedabad was a draw.
