Amid the controversy over Zimbabwe’s presidential election, time was taken today to mark international women’s day. the theme is worldwide solidarity with the women of Afghanistan.
Commenting on the occasion is the team leader of the Electoral Institute of Southern Africa. She says elections can affect women either in a positive or a negative way. Inonge Mbikusita Lewanika made the remarks today in Harare. Reporter Kellys Kaunda has the story.
