Swiss cyclist Alex Zuelle has won the penultimate stage of the Tour of Romandie in Switzerland in a driving snowstorm, but Italian rider Dario Frigo remains the overall leader.
Zuelle broke away from a small group of leaders to win the mountainous stage in 2:18:23. David Moncoutie of France was second, two seconds back with Santiago Perez Fernandez of Spain third in the same time.
Frigo finished seventh in the stage, 11 seconds behind the winner, but maintains his lead in the overall standings headed into Sunday's 18.3 kilometer time trial that begins and ends at Olympic stadium in Lausanne.
