The Harare International Festival of the Arts (HIFA), kicked off in Harare today. HIFA organizers, say this year’s event will give Zimbabweans a break from the daily social and economic pressures.
HIFA, which began in 1999, is now an annual event, which encompasses music, theatre, drama and fine arts.
Carole Gombakomba spoke to HIFA’s Public Relations Co-odinator, Jill Day, about some of the major highlights of the festival.
