Anna Pistolesi of Israel captured her second straight title Sunday, defeating Croatian qualifier Jelena Kostanic in three sets to win the Nordea Nordic Light Open tennis tournament in Helsinki, Finland.
The second-seeded Pistolesi extended her winning streak to 10 straight matches, as she came back from a loss in the first set for a 4-6, 6-4, 6-0 victory. It was the eighth title of the 27-year-old Pistolesi's career.
The 22-year-old Kostanic was playing in her first WTA Tour singles final. Most of the WTA Tour's top players are Los Angeles for the J.P. Morgan Chase Open, a tuneup for the U.S. Open.
