Russia's economy is expected to show average growth of about 6.3 percent for the first three quarters of this year.
The economy ministry says that is nearly three percent more than the same period last year.
Figures released Wednesday also show that inflation for the first nine months of the year is running about 8.5 percent.
The Russian government has said it hopes to hold inflation to 10-12 percent for this year, compared to 15 percent for 2002.
