The prosecution's main witness against style maven Martha Stewart is now scheduled to testify Tuesday in New York.
The judge put off Douglas Faneuil's testimony last week after defense attorneys complained that prosecutors had failed to share information that might damage his credibility.
The defense had asked for additional time to review the information, but on Monday the judge set testimony for Tuesday afternoon.
Brokerage assistant Faneuil is said to be crucial to establishing the case against Ms. Stewart.
She and her broker are accused of lying to investigators about thousands of shares of stock that were sold just before negative news sent the value falling. She is also accused of lying to shareholders in her own company.
Ms Stewart has created a major company by writing books, managing magazines, and producing television programs that demonstrate skillful ways of cooking, decorating and entertaining.
