Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen has told his new government to focus on reform over the next few years.
Mr. Hun Sen told his ministers at a Cabinet meeting that reform is a life-or-death matter for the country. He urged his government to implement strong reform programs to make the country better.
The prime minister and his Cabinet were sworn in at the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh Friday, one day after Cambodia's Parliament formally approved the new government.
Hun Sen's Cambodian People's Party and the royalist Funcinpec Party reached agreement last month on forming a coalition government, almost one year after parliamentary elections were held.
