The son of Libyan President Moammar Gadhafi says he is working to help free British engineer Kenneth Bigley, who was taken hostage in Iraq nearly three weeks ago.
Speaking Tuesday in Vienna, Saif Gadhafi said he is using contacts within his charity organization to gain Mr. Bigley's freedom. He said he took action after being contacted by the Bigley family.
Kenneth Bigley was kidnapped September 16 in Baghdad, along with two Americans who were later beheaded by insurgents linked to wanted terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
