Golf: Tiger Captures 2nd Consecutive Title at Ford Championship at Doral

World number one golfer Tiger Woods has captured his second consecutive title at the Ford Championship at Doral in Miami, Florida.

The 30-year-old American carded a final-round three-under-par 69 Sunday to finish at 20-under-par 268. Fellow American David Toms and rookie Camilo Villegas of Colombia finished one shot behind. Fredrik Jacobson of Sweden was five shots back, at 15-under-par 273 to finish alone in fourth place.

Woods has never surrendered a two-shot lead in the final round of the U.S. PGA Tour event. Despite wayward driving and bogeys [one over par on a hole] on the final two holes, he kept that record intact on Doral's famed Blue Monster course. The win marks the 48th career PGA Tour victory for Woods, who is in his 10th season as a professional.
