PASADENA, CA —
Documentary filmmaker Ken Burns has been named grand marshal of the 2015 Rose Parade.
The Tournament of Roses announced the selection Tuesday at a ceremony in Pasadena, California.
The 127th edition of the annual floral spectacle next New Year's Day will feature the theme "Find Your Adventure.''
The 62-year-old Burns is known for his long-form films for PBS on subjects including the Civil War, baseball, jazz and national parks.
