Financial markets continue to drop as Donald Trump racks up victories in states he wasn’t projected to win.
Dow futures have plummeted nearly 750 points, according to MarketWatch. The financial site reports that, in Asia, “stocks opened sharply lower,” with Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index down 607 points or 2.7 percent, to 22,299. The Nikkei 225 slid 783 points, or 4.5 percent, at 16,387.
The Mexican peso also has sunk by more than 11 percent, hitting a record low of 20.30 pesos to the dollar.
