Clarke has given interviews where he described the activist group Black Lives Matter as having a “hateful ideology." Blue Lives Matter refers to law enforcement officials.

The theme of the night was Make America Safe Again. She said Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, who was secretary of state when her son died, deserved to be in prison, and that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump "is everything" Clinton is not.
