Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have visited a Malaysian mosque Friday as their tour of Asia continues.

The royal couple removed their shoes before ascending the stairs into the Asy-Syakirin mosque in Kuala Lumpur on the second day of their visit to Malaysia.

The royal couple then went on to attend a UK business lunch where the Duke was to give a short speech.

William and Kate are on a nine-day tour of the Far East and South Pacific in celebration of Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee.

They arrived in Malaysia on Thursday after visiting Singapore.

They head to the Solomon Islands on Saturday before completing their tour in Tuvalu.
