Police investigators work at the site of a brawl at the Khovanskoye cemetery in Moscow, Russia, May 14, 2016.

Three people were killed and about two dozen were injured Saturday in a massive brawl at Moscow's largest cemetery, a battle that witnesses said centered on who has the right to work there.

Local police said ethnic tensions were at play in the fight, which involved about 200 people, many brandishing baseball bats and iron rods as they walked into the melee. Video of the altercation was posted on social media.

At least two of the dead are thought to have been Tajik nationals.

The Russian TASS news agency reported that ethnic Chechens, Dagestanis and Uzbeks were also part of the fighting over who has the right to conduct burial services in the Khovanskoye cemetery in southwest Moscow.

Police said at least 90 people were arrested.
