Every year, the IBM Corporation looks at emerging technologies and identifies five innovations it believes will change the world in the next five years. The company’s annual list, called “Five in Five”, has focused in the past on upcoming changes in mobile phones, 3-D imaging, transportation systems and energy technologies. This year, as Faiza Elmasry tells us, the IBM list describes smart devices that will extend our senses.
