Taiwan-born filmmaker Ang Lee won an Oscar Sunday night for his film Life Of Pi about a boy stranded on the ocean with a Bengal tiger. He won Best Director, beating out Steven Spielberg and his film Lincoln as well as three other films. Lee's Life of Pi also picked up Oscars for cinematography, special effects and best original score. VOA's Penelope Poulou tells us about Ang Lee, who was a late bloomer.
