Forces Loyal To rebel George Athor Launch New Raids In South Sudan

Forces loyal to rebel George Athor raided health clinics in Jonglei State’s Ayod County. Athor’s forces are reportedly still in the area, spurring anxiety among the local population. The South Sudan Army – SPLA – has confirmed the raids and says it is responding to suppress the movement of the rebels. Manyang David Mayar, our Jonglei State Correspondent reports from Juba.
