Middle East Monitor: Violence Surges in Iraq Prior to Elections

The violence today hit Iraq's capital, Baghdad, as well as Kirkuk and Tuz Khurmato to the north, the central city of Samarra, and Nasariyah in southern Iraq as Iraqis prepared for Saturday's election.
