Pianist and composer Amina Figarova was born in Baku, Azerbaijan. She now lives in New York with husband, Bart Platteau, who plays flute in her sextet. Amina and her band join Eric Felten at Blues Alley, performing her original compositions and talking about her globe-hopping life as a jazz musician.
