Landmines placed decades ago by the Turkish military today are posing a serious threat to Syrian refugees fleeing the conflict in their nation, according to Human Rights Watch. V-O-A’s Susan Yackee asked Mary Wareham, Advocacy Director for the H-R-W Arms Division, about the situation.
