US Lawmakers Discuss Extension of US-China Nuclear Deal

A group of U.S. senators heard testimony from top nuclear security officials on the "risks and rewards" of renewing a treaty on peaceful nuclear power cooperation with China. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee met with the two experts on Tuesday, a day after holding a closed-door meeting with several administration officials to discuss the 30-year extension of the bilateral pact.
