Gender, Race Identity Changes Spark Debate

Two recent cases of identity change in the United States have sparked debate on whether people have a right to choose their racial or gender identification and change it if they do not like the one they were born with. Athlete Bruce Jenner's transformation from a man into a woman was largely cheered, but a rights activist who said she was a black woman was forced to resign from her job when her biological parents turned out to be white.
