Confederate Flag Leaving S. Carolina Statehouse Grounds

The Confederate flag will no longer fly on the grounds of the South Carolina statehouse. Governor Nikki Haley signed a bill Thursday authorizing the removal of the flag, which for many has come to represent racial hatred. Families of the people slain last month at a black church in Charleston attended the public signing ceremony at the statehouse. Zlatica Hoke reports.
