US Congress Prepares to Take Up Iran Nuclear Pact

The international nuclear accord with Iran will be center stage in Congress when lawmakers return from a month-long recess next week. As VOA’s Michael Bowman reports, President Barack Obama has secured enough Democratic support for the deal to sustain a veto of a vote of disapproval from the Republican-led legislature, but not enough to block such a resolution from reaching his desk.
