Defiant Assad Votes in Syria's Sham Poll

Syria held parliamentary elections Wednesday but there was no doubt about the outcome. The polls are largely seen as a ploy by President Bashar al-Assad to legitimize his hold on power. Assad insisted on holding the election in the war-torn country, citing the constitution, despite the fact that many Syrians were not able to vote. Zlatica Hoke reports.
