Russia: NATO Missile Defense Site in Romania Violates Treaty

Russia has accused the United States of violating an international treaty by launching a part of its ballistic missile shield at a NATO Air Base in Romania. On Thursday, NATO officials activated launching platforms for the defense system in the country that was once Russia's area of influence.
