Russia: NATO Missile Defense Site in Romania Violates Treaty

Russia has accused the United States of violating an international treaty by launching a part of its ballistic missile shield at a NATO Air Base in Romania. On Thursday, NATO officials activated launching platforms for the defense system in the country that was once Russia's area of influence. Moscow promptly condemned the move, calling the shield a threat to the region. Zlatica Hoke reports.
