Here in the U.S., a tired group of Democrats carried their remarkable 16-hour house floor sit-in past daybreak Thursday, disrupting Congress in the wake of the Orlando shooting massacre with demands for gun-control votes. The extraordinary scene of protest caused Republicans, who control the chamber, to vote early Thursday, to adjourn their work until July 5th. VOA’s Vincent Makori reports.
