Fire Painting Artist Burns His Art

Artist Pete Kephart likes to play with fire. He scorches paper covered with paint, water and other materials over the embers of a bonfire to create luminous, surreal images. VOA’s Deborah Block takes us to Levels, West Virginia, where Kephart creates his fire paintings.
