Millions the world over know of Dr. Martin Luther King's life and work...but it's likely none knew him better than his wife, Coretta Scott King. Long after his death, she continued to champion civil rights and the struggle for social justice. Mrs. King passed away in 2006, but in 1995 VOA's Sarah Williams had the chance to speak with her. Mrs. King encouraged people to mark Martin Luther King Day not by resting, but by getting out and working.
